Comment: Tom Good was an extraordinary pilot and a great man. He was a Ranger and had fixed wing experience before he joined the Rattlers. I remember he enjoyed both takeoffs and landings as if he was in an airplane rather than a helicopter. The takeoffs worked well, since we had lots of airspeed before he pulled cyclic.
I was saddened to hear of his passing. Wish I could have stayed in contact with him, but of course that was not to be.
