Rattler/Firebird Association Membership
Membership in the Rattler/Firebird Association is available to men, or family members of men, who served with Company A/501st Aviation Batallion, the 71st Assault Helicopter Company, 151st Transportation Detachment, or the 94th Signal Detachment prior to its stand down in 1971. While everyone on our mailing list receives our newsletter, only paid members receive the printed directory of all former members of our unit for whom we have information. Directories are mailed annually on July 1 of each year.
Memberships in our Association are $12 per year. If you have questions about the status of your existing membership, look at the mailing label of your most recent newsletter. If there is a 2024 (or higher) or Life (a 'C' refers to charter member) to the right of your name, you are current with your dues and WILL receive the new address directory to be mailed by July 1st. Anything else means you are not current with your dues. Please consider joining or renewing.
Life memberships are as follows:
- Age 50 and below $200
- Age 51 to 55 -$175
- Age 56 to 60 -$150
- Age 61 to 65 -$125
- Age 66 and up -$100
