Cause: Lung and Brain Cancer

Dwane C. "Duke" Watson, OF65, died 17 Sep 02 in Carlisle, PA, after an eight
month battle with lung and brain cancer. He is survived by his wife, DeElda,
three sons and a daughter and several grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at the Carlisle Barracks post chapel on Friday,
20 Sep 02, with internment at the National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD, on Monday,
23 Sep 02.

"Duke" served as the operations officer and flew many combat missions with
the Rattlers. He was then assigned to Ft Rucker, AL, in the Contact Division,
and then returned to Vietnam for a second tour. His last assignment was as an
instructor at the Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, PA.
